  • Kosmos v1.0 ALPHA [ download demo* | download sources* | view screenshots ]
    Kosmos will be used as a testbed for AI R&D. This demo just shows the environment. The terrain is generated from a heightmap and is based on the 'Continuous LOD Terrain Meshing Using Adaptive Quadtrees' article posted on gamasutra.com by Thatcher Ulrich. I've also added per pixel lighting (normal maps) and a skybox to make things a little bit nicer. Kosmos is still work in progress so keep visiting for the latest updates.
